Hidden Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are similar to traditional braces because brackets and wires are installed on the teeth to correct orthodontic issues. However, hidden lingual braces are placed on the back of the teeth facing the tongue making them a discreet alternative.

Two great options of hidden lingual braces are the MTM™ No Trace brace system and the In-Ovation L brace system which are bonded to the back of your teeth and offer the same great benefits. The In-Ovation L brace system uses a full arch, whereas the MTM system is attached to half the arch, focusing on just correcting the front teeth.

The MTM™ No Trace brace system is a discreet fixed brace which is hidden behind your teeth, so you can smile with confidence whilst your teeth are being straightened.

Ideal for patients who have mild misalignment of their front teeth, who also desire speedy results with an invisible brace.

The MTM™ No Trace offers patients a noticeable change with minimal movement of their teeth, so it’s a lot quicker than orthodontic systems designed for more complex alignment issues.

These lingual brackets are directly bonded to the back of the teeth and ideal for patients who want to commence treatment straight away.

The brackets are low profile and small and are therefore comfortable and have little impact on affecting your speech.

Specially designed built-in self-ligating clips, whilst holding the wire securely in place, also aid comfortable and improve speed of treatment.

As they are remarkably undetectable, if an occasion arises when the braces are not ready to be removed, the brace can be left in place to continuing working, as it wouldn’t be seen.

Advantages of MTM™ No trace brace system

MTM™ offers the following benefits:

  • Hidden from view
  • Fixed so reduces emphasis on patients remembering to wear brace
  • Relatively short treatment time
  • Small brackets so minimal impact on speech
  • Gentle, comfortable movement of teeth
  • Faster results

In-Ovation L brace system is a discreet fixed brace which is a full arch lingual brace hidden behind your teeth. It is entirely invisible so that you can smile with confidence whilst your teeth are being straightened. This system works similarly to The MTM™ No Trace brace system.
