After qualifying as a dentist in Madrid in 2009, Leire worked in general practice in Spain, before moving to the UK. Leire gained her experience in general dental practice, where she then worked in the Somerset region for the following 5 years.

She completed her Diploma in Advanced Restorative Dentistry at Plymouth University in 2015. Since then, she has worked in general practice in Bristol, and joined Bank Cottage early 2019.

Leire appreciates the importance of getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable and at ease. She always has her patients’ best interests at heart and takes great pride in providing the highest quality of dentistry.

Her particular interest in restorative dentistry fuelled her to study for her diploma, during which she gained the knowledge and skills to treat more complex challenging cases in a predictable and safe way.

Outside of work, Leire is keen on keeping fit and active. She also enjoys arts and crafts, especially pottery and sewing. Apart from that she enjoys gathering with her family and friends over good food!
