Although patients have the option of “paying as you go” for their dental treatment, many patients prefer to join our dental care plan.
Our dental care plan is designed for patients who wish to attend our practice on a regular basis and have peace of mind that their routine dental treatment will be covered by convenient monthly payments. Upon joining the dental plan, you would also be eligible to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme for dental emergencies or dental trauma whilst at home or abroad.
This plan is administered by DPAS who would make a separate arrangement with you to manage your payments under the plan.
What does our Care Plan include?
What is excluded from our Care Plan?
Treatment not covered by this plan may still be available, but would be paid for separately.
How do you join our care plan?
Your dentist would carry out a dental assessment to ensure that our care plan meets your needs. You would then be advised of the monthly amount you pay to cover all your routine dental treatment, and the charges for management and administration payable by you to DPAS.
Then joining is very simple. All you need to do is complete a registration form, a direct debit mandate and an authorisation form for DPAS.
In addition to your first monthly payment, an initial registration fee of £10 per person will be payable by you to DPAS and will be included in your first direct debit payment.
If you choose to leave the plan for any reason, you can do so by simply giving us one month’s notice.
What happens in an emergency?
If at home, please ring Bank Cottage Practice in case of an emergency.
If away from home, you will have access to a 24 hour, 365 days worldwide dental emergency helpline, which will endeavor to find an English speaking dentist to assist you.
Any questions?
If you have any questions, please contact our reception team who will be happy to provide further information and guidance.

As a person with a fear of dentists who had not visited one in 8 years I can honestly say Dentist Tim Lindop and Nurse Lisa made me feel at ease. They were friendly and professional and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Tim took the time to thoroughly explain to me what he was going to do before beginning which took a lot of my anxiety away. After explaining my concerns Tim was very patient and understanding and the injections I received were very gentle. Excellent dental practice with exceptional staff, I won't be going anywhere else in future.
