Following that, he went onto complete his surgical training achieving his MRCS and CCBST qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Charles then decided to pursue a career in dentistry and qualified as a dental surgeon from Bristol University in 2013. Since then, he has worked as a general dental practitioner in the Bristol area, before joining Bank Cottage Dental in December 2020.
What Charles enjoys is being able to combine his medical and surgical training with his dental skills to give a comprehensive approach to provide the best dental care for his patients. He has a particular interest in the oral surgical aspects of dentistry, utilising the skills during his training and experience he has acquired over the years.
Charles has a naturally cheerful charisma and patients have found him to be engaging, personable and reassuring.
In his spare time, Charles is an avid Bristol Bears Rugby fan and has been a season ticket holder for over 20 years. He also likes to keep himself fit, from his former rugby days to these days, cycling.
As a person with a fear of dentists who had not visited one in 8 years I can honestly say Dentist Tim Lindop and Nurse Lisa made me feel at ease. They were friendly and professional and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Tim took the time to thoroughly explain to me what he was going to do before beginning which took a lot of my anxiety away. After explaining my concerns Tim was very patient and understanding and the injections I received were very gentle. Excellent dental practice with exceptional staff, I won't be going anywhere else in future.
